We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to perform inspections at client suppliers in Denton, TX.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers.
- Ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
- Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications.
- Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate.
- Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects.
- Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non-conformances.
- Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods.
- Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields.
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components.
- Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC).
- Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills.
- 50% hourly rate for any travel time (
