The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Engineer who is dedicated to tackling intricate challenges and crafting groundbreaking solutions utilizing Swift. In this role, you will take ownership of delivering significant features and components, ensuring the development and deployment of robust, secure, scalable, and consistently operational code. A strong sense of curiosity, eagerness to learn new technologies, and proficiency with IDEs, version control, and command line tools are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the delivery of key features and components
  • Develop and deploy resilient, secure, scalable, and consistently operational code
  • Possess a solid understanding of data modeling with Swift (protocols, enums, structs, classes)
  • Design robust networking and data modeling layers
  • Have experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Fastlane) and setting up deployment pipelines
  • Regularly utilize the XCTest framework to validate your code
  • Proactively identify potential risks and approach them with a solution-focused mindset
  • Adhere to Swift coding conventions and iOS design patterns
  • Offer insights on optimal solutions for specific platforms
  • Maintain a holistic perspective, balancing business objectives with technical limitations
  • Mentor fellow developers
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams and clients in an agile environment

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional programming experience
  • Familiarity with the code signing and distribution process

  • Experience developing across multiple Apple platforms (watchOS, tvOS, CarPlay)
  • Understanding of inclusive and accessible UI design
  • Proficiency in SwiftUI/Combine
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Voice, and/or AR/VR
  • Availability of code samples or a GitHub account for review
