Job Opportunity
">We're seeking a highly skilled and organized Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll play a crucial role in building next-generation microservices using cloud-first concepts and technologies.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Work effectively with Technical Product Managers to own & ensure delivery against agreed priorities.">
- Build high performing teams by attracting, hiring, retaining and coaching top talent.">
- Grow team and guide the career development of team members, including both technical and interpersonal skills necessary for being effective and successful in a professional software engineering organization.">
- Provide systematic and direct individual performance feedback focused on recognition of achievement and opportunities for growth.">
- Owning cloud services end to end, delivering distributed systems using AWS services and best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments, canaries, frequent deployments, and feature-flag-driven development.">
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.">
- Outstanding professional software engineering experience with work on managing engineering teams.">
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solutions from design through delivery.">
- Very good understanding of one or more of Go, Java, Kotlin, NodeJS and other modern programming languages.">
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with technical product managers, architects, and technical teams across different product areas.">
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, compliance, open-source technologies and frameworks.">
- DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability">
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and a broad array of AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo, etc.">
- Familiarity with common compliance frameworks that impact software development: FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2, and more.">
- Experience in Travel Technology domain is a plus.">
