We are seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to join our team at Trustly Americas, located in Vitoria, Brazil. This role is responsible for mitigating risks and reducing losses through proactive data analysis, trend identification, and impactful recommendations.
About the RoleThis position requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with fraud concepts, and the ability to recognize trends and patterns. You will work closely with our Data Science and Engineering teams to optimize risk operations strategy, improve processes, and automate tasks.
Responsibilities- Proactively analyze data to identify trends and generate impactful recommendations
- Compile trends to detect model or rule adjustments
- Summarize and document findings with recommendations for data scientists
- Support Risk Operations with process and tool improvements
- Optimize Risk Operations strategy by identifying opportunities to automate processes
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Fraud/risk experience in the financial services/e-commerce industry
- Familiarity with fraud concepts such as account-take-over, stolen financials, friendly fraud, and identity theft
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of how to utilize data to target improvements and solve problems
- Ability to recognize fraud trends, patterns, and communicate effectively
- Experience with large-scale data analysis using Python
- Intermediate/advanced SQL skills
