Position Overview

As a key member of the TechnipFMC team, the Material Planner III will be based in Hyderabad, IN, and will work in an office environment. This role is essential in driving our commitment to innovation and sustainability within the energy sector.

Role Objectives

The primary objective of this position is to deliver comprehensive Material Planning analysis and support to the Manufacturing (REMS) Organization, adhering to both Global Planning Processes and local Planning Procedures.

The Planner will engage with the REMS Organization to:

  • Monitor and expedite Material Demand
  • Influence Material Supply Strategy
  • Conduct Commodity Planning
  • Provide Material Analysis, Interpretation, and Intervention to support Master Production Schedule commitments

This role also includes advising and guiding other functions regarding Material Management.

Key Responsibilities

The Planner will be responsible for:

  • Managing Engineering Change Processes
  • Overseeing Master Data in SAP
  • Executing MRP processes manually or via SAP to identify demand, inventory, and supply requirements
  • Implementing Commodity Planning strategies
  • Facilitating Consumption Based Planning
  • Supporting Product Standardization and Utilization
  • Planning for externally procured materials
  • Managing Exceptions and Deviations in the plan for externally procured materials
  • Maintaining Inventory Levels
  • Maximizing inventory turnover
  • Minimizing logistics costs through effective distribution planning
  • Controlling material allocation and escalating conflicts as necessary

The Planner should possess a solid understanding of the activities and equipment related to Materials within their area of responsibility.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum degree in Business Administration, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related Technical Discipline
  • 6 to 9 years of relevant experience
  • A strong grasp of Lean manufacturing principles
  • An appreciation for the Engineering Execution Process (EEP)
  • Practical knowledge of Engineering BOMs and documentation
