Job Overview

As a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's automation and orchestration capabilities. This position requires expertise in designing, architecting, and implementing automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, and management of on-premise network devices, servers, and storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automation solutions for enterprise infrastructure and application environments using CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
  • Develop reusable automation templates and playbooks to enable zero-touch provisioning and lifecycle management across infrastructure platforms.
  • Integrate approved configuration standards into automated provisioning workflows, ensuring new devices and refresh cycles are compliant and scalable.
  • Architect and automate compliance validation and drift detection mechanisms within provisioning pipelines, enabling real-time monitoring and rapid remediation.
  • Implement configuration management features including version control, rollback workflows, SNMP hardening, secure management protocol enforcement, and rationalized NTP/interface/VLAN governance.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this role requires collaboration with development, QA, operations, and business partners to align automation initiatives with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and operational metrics. You will also serve as an internal consultant and mentor, championing automation best practices and fostering knowledge sharing across IT teams.

Requirements
  • Deep understanding of automation tools and technologies such as Ansible, NetBox, and Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.
  • Ability to design and implement automation workflows that meet scalability and reliability requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
