Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for owning the entire testing process, ensuring quality excellence throughout.

Your primary focus will be on representing quality in cross-functional discussions, conducting thorough requirements analysis, and developing robust test plans.

  • Owning the entire testing lifecycle for the team
  • Representing quality in cross-functional discussions
  • Requirements analysis, test planning, and execution
  • Cultivating a deep understanding of business needs and technical roadmaps
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and extend existing test automation frameworks
  • Evaluate and implement new automation tools and strategies
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to set clear quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in delivering high-quality products and facilitating automation tests
  • Strong hands-on test automation experience with JavaScript
  • Knowledge of complete QA cycles and experience with different types of testing
  • Solid strategic vision for test automation
  • Experience building automated API tests and frameworks with RestAssured or similar frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience in Typescript
  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Test Cafe, or Karate
  • Familiarity with cloud platform providers such as AWS
  • A tester mindset and solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies
