Job Title: Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled technical specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of standard test equipment, including oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.


The primary responsibility of this role is to set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting, replacement, and repair of parts or components, as well as testing of electrical equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits, utilizing established test procedures.


This position requires the ability to record results of repair and modification actions and account for time required to perform each task on service worksheets. Additionally, the specialist may be required to prepare estimates of repair costs for customers and communicate technical and financial aspects of repair costs in both verbal and written form to internal and external customers.


The successful candidate will have experience conducting a variety of functional tests to check operation and calibration of test stations, components, equipment, and systems. They will also be able to communicate problems/observations/estimates for repair effectively with supervision, product support, engineering, and/or customer.


This role involves working collaboratively with other levels of supervision to prioritize work, plan for future projects, and determine the best utilization of personnel and resources in their work area.
