Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Interpublic Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring the integrity of our financial statements, and identifying and addressing accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with USGAAP and SOX regulations.
  • Collaborate with country Controllers to obtain explanations for variances and ensure timely completion of the monthly close process.
  • Assist local financial personnel with updating controls documentation and provide support for quarterly closing activities.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, including reviewing and updating Excel macros for consolidation purposes and assisting business units with internal control issues remediation.
Requirements
  • Advanced technical literacy in Excel and knowledge of USGAAP and SOX regulations.
  • Fluent in English, with Spanish and Portuguese language skills a plus.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and accounting operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment.
  • Results-driven, organized, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to integrity and ethics.
