The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our team at Poatek, a leading international consultancy company. As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing AI solutions that drive business value and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop AI solutions that address complex business problems, leveraging your expertise in software engineering and AI systems.
  • Collaborate with Data Science professionals to integrate AI models and ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Implement and optimize AI components, ensuring they are scalable and meet industry best practices.
  • Develop and fine-tune AI models, including large language models, to create tailored solutions for specific use cases.
  • Lead the evaluation and measurement of AI model outputs, developing custom metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Translate AI research into production-ready features, delivering robust and scalable AI components.
  • Drive the selection and application of evaluation metrics, ensuring AI solutions are robust, unbiased, and meet performance standards.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in applied AI, with a foundation in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, LLMs, and statistical analysis.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI models and ability to choose the right model for specific use cases.
  • Experience with data embeddings and vector databases, understanding the trade-offs between available options.
  • Experience building and testing major server-side platforms for API development and orchestration.
  • Experience leveraging CI/CD tools and deploying software on leading cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with performance optimization and observability platforms.
  • Proficiency in conducting experiment tracking and implementing complex AI integrations.
  • Ability to communicate complex AI solutions and concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in creating and adjusting prompts for complex AI systems.
  • Familiarity with testing and evaluating AI systems using state-of-the-art methods and best practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside Data Science specialists.
