About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in driving the success of our company by designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will be an expert in system design, software development, and engineering operations, with a strong focus on modern technology stacks, JavaScript, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities- Technology Architecture Strategy: Develop and execute the company's technology architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and goals.
- End-to-End Solution Design: Design and architect end-to-end solutions that leverage modern technology stacks, including JavaScript frameworks, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps practices.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and other technical professionals to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions.
- Culture of Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team, ensuring best practices, code patterns, and high-quality standards are consistently met.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other company stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support, to drive product development and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to optimize engineering operations and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the technology industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape, to inform strategic decision-making and solution development.
- Team Performance: Set and deliver KPIs for the engineering team, ensuring strong familiarity with OKR/KPI frameworks to continually measure and optimize team performance.
- System Design Expertise: Expertise in system design, with a strong capability to implement it effectively across modern technology stacks.
- JavaScript Proficiency: Proficiency in JavaScript, including modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React).
- Code Patterns: Experience with code patterns and their application in software architecture.
- DevOps Practices: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field, with at least 4 years in a leadership or architecture role.
- Track Record: Proven track record of success in developing and launching innovative technology solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in software development, system architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Large User Base: Experience with products that have a large user base.
- Subscription-Based Products: Experience with subscription-based products.
