We are looking for a skilled Technical Specialist in Mechanical Repair to join our team at EagleBurgmann do Brasil Vedacoes Ltda. in Valinhos. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting mechanical seals and accessories for repair, performing repairs, disassembly, evaluation, and record necessary parts, and preparing technical reports with photos and recommendations.

You will also provide technical support to the sales team and external customers, proposing appropriate solutions, offer field technical assistance, checking the operation and making repairs as needed, monitor and guide customers in the field to improve equipment MTBF, conduct external Expansion Joint services, and lead teams in the field. You will be required to travel for periods abroad, including extended stays at customers outside the Valinhos headquarters.

Requirements:

  • Technician in Mechanical Maintenance or related areas, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related areas.
  • Basic Excel and other Office package applications.
  • Basic English (desirable).
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment, such as centrifugal pumps, basic agitators and basic mixers.
  • Knowledge of expansion joints desirable.
