About the Role:
Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Professional to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for supporting the region in the effective execution of onshore CPX and assisting the business in contract and risk management to improve company results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee the overall contract management of LAT Projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Claim Management: Contribute to Vestas LAT claim management and claim performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Lessons Learned: Participate in lessons learned exercises for the portfolio of projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure monitoring and implementation.
- Training and Development: Support the development of training programs for LAT region PMs, SMs, PEs, and other stakeholders, focusing on contract and risk management best practices.
- Procedural Improvements: Coordinate procedural improvements in regards to Risk and Contract Management, aiming to reduce upstream/downstream contract misalignments.
- Contract Awareness: Develop and improve Construction team contract awareness, ensuring a thorough understanding of TCI and TSA contracts.
- Contract Alignment: Support procurement, bid, and projects teams to ensure that the contractual conditions of TCI contracts are aligned 'back to back' with those established in the main contract.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law or Engineering.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Experience: Previous experience in infrastructure contracts, negotiation of complex contracts, claims, and risk management.
- Skills: Ability to prioritize, focus on details, and meet deadlines; ability to work across various parts of the value chain and involve needed business stakeholders; great service and interpersonal skills; solid analytical and problem-solving skills; creative and systematic approach to tasks; solid communication and stakeholder management skills; good business process understanding and ability to work cross-functionally; continuous improvement mindset and a solution-oriented approach to work.
