Position Overview:
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be accountable for the issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) aimed at acquiring bids from suppliers, based on the technical documents provided by internal stakeholders regarding the products and services required. Your role will encompass:
  • Engagement in more intricate purchasing categories;
  • Collaborative purchasing planning with internal clients;
  • Supplier scouting and evaluation;
  • Ensuring supplier qualification and approval;
  • Development of negotiation strategies;
  • Conducting negotiations;
  • Proposal assessment and standardization;
  • Finalizing orders and/or contracts;
  • Facilitating communication and support between internal departments and contracted suppliers as needed.


Qualifications:
We seek candidates with a robust background in procurement, particularly in the engagement of direct service contracts.

Applicants should possess a completed higher education degree, preferably in fields such as Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Technology, Marketing, or Engineering. Proficiency in procurement tools like Strategic Sourcing is essential. Familiarity with Power BI, SAP (ERP), Excel, and PowerPoint is required, along with advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite. Intermediate proficiency in English and/or Spanish is also expected.
