- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation, engaging with internal teams to drive procurement excellence.
- Market Analysis and Forecasting: Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in the market, enabling proactive procurement decisions.
- Risk Management and Mitigation: Assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes, ensuring business continuity.
- Vendor Management and Engagement: Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers, determining quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Policy and Process Updates: Engage legal and other internal stakeholders in policy and process updates, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance, or accounting, with 8+ years of work experience as a Buyer, Category Manager, Purchasing Officer, or relevant role within procurement, finance, or accounting.
- Skills and Qualifications: Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills, and excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Certifications and Training: CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
