Software Engineer: Linux Devices

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work on mission-critical Golang code, focused on software delivery, containers, security sandboxing, telemetry and device management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux development, with experience working with containerized applications and operating systems. A good understanding of Go programming language is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a distributed team to develop high-quality software solutions
  • Write and review code to ensure it meets our standards of maintainability, scalability, and reliability
  • Debug complex issues related to Linux system level and produce high-quality code to fix them
  • Engage in code reviews and provide feedback to peers

Our team values collaboration, peer reviews, good unit/integration testing and maintainable code. General knowledge and experience with Linux as a developer platform is required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proficiency in Go programming language
  • Strong understanding of Linux system architecture and containerization
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
