We are seeking a highly skilled Health Economics and Outcomes Research Specialist to join our Public Affairs team at Edwards Lifesciences. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality health economic and outcomes research analyses and associated activities in evidence generation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Health Economic and Outcomes Research Analyses: Develop and synthesize health economic and outcomes research analyses to support the value proposition of Edwards' products in the LATAM region.
- Engage with Key Stakeholders: Engage with key stakeholders from HTA and value-based organizations to build relationships and gather insights on healthcare trends and policies.
- Develop Projects and Activities: Develop projects and activities related to economics, including cost-effectiveness modeling, budget impact modeling, and other value-based approaches from a payer perspective.
- Manage Agendas and Projects: Manage agendas with key public and private payers in Brazil to shape the value environment and elevate the recognition of Edwards' technologies for the healthcare system.
- Support Communication and Training: Develop and prepare abstracts, posters, presentations, value frameworks, and manuscripts to support the communication of evidence and train internal teams.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work in collaboration with the EMEACLA Public Affairs teams to ensure that the LATAM region's needs and perspectives are timely factored into PA strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare economics, health policy, or a related field.
- 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of previous related experience, or a master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Medical Education and Health Economic Training: Medical education and health economic training background preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent English level, with the ability to speak local languages preferred.
