
Business Growth Attorney

To excel in this position, you will work closely with internal and external legal counsel on various legal matters. The role requires a strong ability to provide legal assistance for business development, local network establishment, and compliance issues.
- Offer legal support for business growth initiatives, regional network setup, and regulatory compliance in Brazil.
- Analyze new business opportunities and models, providing expert legal advice, risk assessment, and contract structure design.
- Provide research and guidance on various legal topics, including international logistics and cross-border e-commerce.
- Draft, review, and revise contracts and legal documents, assist in commercial negotiations, contract execution, and performance monitoring.
- Manage external lawyers for dispute resolution and litigation/arbitration cases.
- Assist in addressing urgent issues and provide practical solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law from a top-ranked law school in Brazil and bar admission in Brazil.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in leading law firms/multinational environments, with a preference for experience in Chinese companies.
- Experience in international logistics/international freight forwarding business and/or cross-border e-commerce business.
- The ability to function independently with moderate supervision and awareness of when to involve global teams or external experts.
- Excellent communication, writing, and negotiation skills in English and Portuguese (as working languages), with Mandarin Chinese as an asset.
- Proactive and team player with the ability to adapt to changes.
