Job Title

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of an AI-powered personalization platform. This cutting-edge project aims to revolutionize how audiences interact with news, leveraging machine learning and generative AI to deliver dynamic, user-centric experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop APIs for summarization, follow story, and catch-up features.
  • Integrate with Brightspot CMS for publishing and delivery.
  • Implement notification routing rules using OneSignal/Sailthru.
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and error handling.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java, especially in extending Brightspot CMS.
  • Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java for backend development on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with GCP services: Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
  • Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL API design.
