Software Development Lead

We are seeking a seasoned software professional to lead the development of our cutting-edge applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying software systems using Java or web development programming languages.
This role requires expertise in coding and software development best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation.
- Design and develop software applications using Java or web development programming languages
- Develop prototypes and write new code/API's
- Perform unit and assembly testing of software components
- Debug software components and identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 3-5 years of experience with full-stack development
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with the full lifecycle of software development, including version control tools, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking software
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Required experience with Java 8 or higher, RESTful services, Kubernetes, HTML5, AngularJS/NodeJS, MS SQL, Jira, and Confluence
