Procurement Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our procurement team in Brazil. You will be responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class procurement strategies, leading country procurement teams, identifying and recommending strategic suppliers, and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.

  • You will integrate procurement services at the country level, achieving value contribution, benefit realization, and efficiency from all procurement activities while ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price, and service.
  • Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business/function in scope.
  • Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, conduct market research/intelligence to support business decisions, and establish local frame contracts.
  • Identify cluster-specific sourcing opportunities and develop and manage strategic suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of regional markets/category trends; suppliers/regional players.
  • Develop and implement country sourcing strategies and contribute to regional category sourcing strategies and initiatives.
  • P prepare and lead strategic supplier negotiation of major contracts at the country level.
  • Prepare, conduct, and lead tenders.
  • Ensure effective implementation of procurement contracts.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Conduct supplier management and identify new 'best-in-class' regional suppliers.
  • E stablish close relationships with regional/business colleagues to ensure actual/future knowledge of demand and service quality; build and maintain a solid understanding of respective business needs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and cooperation with regional/country and corporate sourcing/category managers; strategic suppliers; external partnerships.
