Job Description

Aptonet Inc is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Back-End Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our tools and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement lifecycle management activities, including patching and updating software versions.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and implement necessary security measures.
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability.
  • Handle incident response and management using ServiceNow and PagerDuty.
  • Conduct blameless postmortems to analyze incidents and create actionable items for system improvements.
  • Optimize system performance through regular analysis and improvements.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Plan and manage system capacity to meet future demands.
  • Coordinate and execute change management processes.
  • Implement monitoring solutions, alerting, and dashboards.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Provide user support through various channels, including Slack, email, and ServiceNow.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and PagerDuty.
  • Knowledge of system performance tuning and optimization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
