We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to join our procurement team at Accruent. This role primarily focuses on managing the procurement processes for indirect categories, driving strategic growth and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies for indirect spend categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers, fostering strong relationships and negotiating optimal contract terms.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms, leveraging expertise in procurement processes and policy.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in the market, enabling proactive decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking, to inform procurement decisions and drive business value.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive business insights.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate information and make informed decisions.
  • 5+ years of work experience in procurement, finance, or accounting, with a proven track record of driving business value and improving operational efficiency.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills and the ability to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes and build strong relationships.
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
