Position: Cloud Infrastructure Reliability Engineer

We are currently experiencing an exciting growth phase, entering new markets and continuously evolving. Our IT department is eager to welcome a new member who is passionate about working with advanced technologies.

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to enhance our offerings. The selected candidate will play a vital role in deploying infrastructure, addressing requirements for new developments, ensuring security compliance, and facilitating changes across various customer cloud environments.

This position is Hybrid, requiring occasional presence in our offices.

Key Responsibilities:

To implement and maintain the following areas:

  • Compute Services: Proficient in EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), ECS (Elastic Container Service), Lambda, SQS, and SNS.
  • Storage Solutions: Understanding of S3 (Simple Storage Service) and Glacier for effective data management.
  • Networking Services: Expertise in VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), Route 53 (DNS service), and CloudFront (Content Delivery Network) for networking and content distribution.
  • Database Management: Familiarity with RDS (Relational Database Service) and DynamoDB (NoSQL database) for database administration.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with CloudWatch for tracking and logging AWS resources.
  • Security Management: Knowledge of IAM (Identity and Access Management) and Security Groups for safeguarding AWS infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in tools such as Atlantis and Terraform.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in relation to ECS or EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) in AWS.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Designing and implementing robust architectures and disaster recovery strategies using AWS services like Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic for performance monitoring and alert setup.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • A strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment, tackling challenging problems with a high level of accountability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Ability to analyze complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Networking Knowledge: Understanding of TCP/IP networking, load balancing, DNS, and routing principles.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, manage incidents, and handle high-pressure situations efficiently.
