Vehicle Dynamics Engineer Role Overview

This senior position involves collaborating with a talented team to undertake advanced simulation activities for vehicle dynamics, supporting attributes development programs.

The primary responsibilities include designing and implementing chassis and complete vehicle models, performing virtual simulations to evaluate suspension kinematics & compliance and complete vehicle handling & ride comfort, optimizing chassis parameters to meet performance targets, generating project reports, presenting project results, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making processes, as well as client communication and reporting.

Key aspects of this role involve working collaboratively to drive business outcomes through the application of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Experience in automotive chassis development with a focus on Vehicle Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics theory and its applications in suspension K&C and full-vehicle performance.
  • Basic knowledge of the performance development process.
  • Proficiency in vehicle dynamics simulation using multi-body and/or lookup tables-based models.
  • Advanced data post-processing skills.
