Job Title: Senior Environmental Project Manager

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex environmental projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to advance their career in a dynamic organization.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing environmental remediation projects, with a strong background in project scheduling, invoicing, and cash flow management. They will also possess excellent communication, writing, and reporting skills, as well as the ability to manage teams and direct professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects
  • Oversee project scheduling, invoicing, and cash flow management
  • Conduct analyses and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Supervise junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work
  • Prepare work plans and organize project studies with minimal direction
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work
  • Experience with CERCLA projects and federal facilities
  • Proven ability to manage environmental remediation projects
  • Strong communication, writing, and reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience directly as a project manager
  • Professional License (PE, PG) in New England states
  • 10+ years' experience in environmental remediation project management
  • Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients
  • Interest in business development and stakeholder negotiations
