Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement pillar, you will be responsible for developing and executing category practices for selected categories, including indirect categories. Your primary focus will be on supporting the Category Managers in the analysis and definition of category spend baseline and category profile, as well as developing Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Category Management
  • Support the Category Managers in the analysis and definition of category spend baseline and category profile, including risk assessment and SRM strategy.
  • Develop and execute category practices for selected categories, including indirect categories.
Sourcing and Negotiation
  • Support the Category Managers in the development of Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies.
  • Participate in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with Category Managers.
  • Perform supplier selection and fact-based negotiations, validated by the Category Manager.
Procurement Operations
  • Support the Category Managers in the execution of sourcing projects, including supplier screening and supplier selection.
  • Perform sourcing management, including category manager activities for projects with limited complexity.
  • Execute end-to-end sourcing projects for categories assigned.
Analytics and Reporting
  • Provide insights on procurement analytics and data to support the operations.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as savings, cycle time, payment terms, and backlog.
Requirements
  1. Education
  • Appropriate university/bachelor degree qualification is essential.
  • A recognized qualification in procurement would be considered an asset.
Language
  • Fluent Portuguese and intermediate English is required.
Experience
  • 3-4 years' professional experience in the same functional domain or other related positions, preferably knowledge of category at hand and working in an international environment.
  • Good experience with supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting area is necessary.
