Job Title

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced communication professional to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our organization's mission and goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism, communication sciences, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in institutional communication. They will possess excellent writing, verbal, and visual communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote our organization's mission and goals
  • Design and produce high-quality communication materials, including reports, brochures, and social media content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated communication campaigns
  • Provide exceptional writing, verbal, and visual communication skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Manage and maintain our digital presence, including social media and website content

Requirements:

  • University degree in Journalism, Communication Sciences, Social Communication, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum five years of experience in institutional communication
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of communication principles and theories

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate studies in Strategic Communication, International Relations, Communications for Development, branding, and/or institutional marketing
  • Minimum three years of journalistic experience in a mass media outlet
