We are seeking an experienced Anti-Money Laundering Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in protecting our customers from financial crimes.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will have fluency in Portuguese, both written and verbal, and possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing customer accounts and transaction patterns for unusual or suspicious activity, identifying red flags related to money laundering, fraud, or other financial crimes. This includes drafting and submitting comprehensive Suspicious Activity Reports, ensuring all details are documented and compliant with regulatory requirements.
The AML Specialist must stay current on emerging trends and tools in financial crime detection, adhering to regional best practices and reporting requirements. Additionally, they will maintain confidentiality and handle reports and documentation with integrity, safeguarding sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze customer accounts and transaction patterns for unusual or suspicious activity.
- Draft and submit comprehensive Suspicious Activity Reports.
- Stay current on emerging trends and tools in financial crime detection.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle reports and documentation with integrity.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Portuguese and English, with exceptional writing and speaking abilities in both languages.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to analyze financial transactions, identify patterns, and make informed risk-based decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting clear, detailed reports.
