About the Role

As a senior software developer, you will be working in cross-functional teams to design and develop new features that meet business requirements.

This role involves providing technical leadership to the development team, contributing to the development effort while maintaining architectural excellence, reviewing code for adherence to coding standards and best practices, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, and designing cloud-based solutions using AWS services.

You will also be responsible for creating comprehensive technical documentation for architectural designs and coding guidelines, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of various components and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership to the development team, helping them make informed decisions and grow their skills.
  • Contribute to the development effort while maintaining a focus on architectural excellence.
  • Review code to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability issues in the product.
  • Leverage your knowledge of AWS services to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with 3+ years in Python and/or Golang in a microservices architecture.
  • 3+ years working with AWS managed services and cloud-native development.
  • Experience with Spark, SQL, and modern data management and orchestration tooling (e.g., AirFlow, DataBricks, DBT).
  • Professional experience with data structures, relational databases, non-relational/no-SQL databases, ETL processes, and complex relational queries.
  • Experience developing SaaS / product development.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to API development and productization / data delivery at scale through APIs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
