Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and experienced Professional to lead our Research Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating research activities, analyzing data, and interpreting results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of research projects.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of data related to sedimentary basins in Latin America.
  • Database Management: Maintain the IRIS21 database and geological spatial layers to ensure global coverage.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with global and regional teams to align and integrate research findings.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior researchers to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in basin research, particularly in the Latin American region.
  • Skill Set: Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
