Job Title: Financial Insights Specialist

Job Description:

The Financial Insights Specialist will play a critical role in providing data-driven support to the Finance, Operations, and Executive teams by collecting, consolidating, and analyzing financial data from various finance systems and production tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data from Omie, Xero, NetSuite, and production tools to drive business decisions.
  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards to facilitate management in monitoring key financial metrics.
  • Analyze trends, variances, and performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop predictive models and data visualizations to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Support the Finance team with regular and ad-hoc financial analysis, including cost analysis, revenue trends, margin analysis, and productivity metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid financial background.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (mandatory).
  • Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and management reporting.
  • Experience working with financial systems (Omie, Xero, NetSuite – nice to have if not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio, or equivalent – desirable).
