Job Role: Senior Finance Executive

Job Description

The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for leading financial activities across various departments, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Application, Credit, Collections, and Taxes.

They set targets, ensure productivity, quality, and service objectives are met by aligning resources and defining role expectations. The Senior Finance Executive provides branch financial support, problem resolution, and measures, monitors, and communicates results to drive continuous improvement.

They manage performance and support employee growth and development by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes and performance are aligned with business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance reporting
  • Provide external reporting to authorities and encompass all transactional finance tasks, accounting, and controlling
  • Manage tax compliance by local rules and regulations
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate liquidity
  • Supervise and develop finance team members, setting clear goals and performance expectations
  • Lead initiatives to improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country-specific requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Solid experience of Financial Reporting/Operations and Accounting
  • Solid experience of leading and managing teams
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in Portuguese and English
