This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how odds evolve during games. The In-play Trading team covers all live events and plays a crucial role in shaping customer experience.

An In-play trader manages events from various sports, including football, basketball, tennis, and more. They offer special markets in many sports, surpassing other operators. This position demands concentration, observation, and mathematical skills to ensure a seamless experience for users.

The role requires a flexible schedule to cover the busy sporting calendar (weekends, evenings).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor real-time sports events and perform live trading;
  • Supervise and adjust data to provide precise and competitive live odds;
  • Provide accurate and rapid results for any event of various sports;
  • Use external providers and in-house odds to optimize/customize offerings and performance;
  • Evaluate events according to their potential demand to offer the widest and most competitive market-wise offer;
  • Continuously monitor bet placements, assess live events risks, and take measures to manage and mitigate risks;
  • Ensure customers have access to the most up-to-date and competitive odds, enhancing the overall betting experience;
  • Maintain effective communication within the trading team and with external stakeholders to ensure a unified and coordinated approach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, finance);
  • Strong interest in sports with a good understanding of various sports and betting markets;
  • Proven analytical and mathematical skills;
  • Betting/sportsbook playing experience/activity;
  • Ability to make quick, well-informed decisions and work within tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Multitasking abilities and PC literacy;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Willingness to work flexible hours in line with business and sports calendar requirements.
