Project Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our AI/ML projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead global and cross-functional AI/ML projects with limited complexity, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with company strategy, and effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  2. Develop and oversee research and development projects, motivating and leading internal and external resources to accomplish tasks and milestones.
  3. Ensure projects follow sound methodology and execution practices, adhering to standard directives and procedures.
  4. Provide technical support to colleagues and other functional teams, creating and managing relationships with third-party providers as needed.
  5. Establish effective project communication plans and facilitate change requests, ensuring transparency around unforeseen results and identified risks.
  6. Serve as the key contact for project stakeholders, effectively communicating information to achieve desired understanding and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline, or Master's/PhD in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing technical projects related to AI/ML, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to communicate complex technical topics with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts from a field that is not one's core competency, with problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in a matrixed corporate environment.
  • Good command of oral and written English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with power product distribution transformers or similar industrial goods manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with modern project management processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP.
