Immunologist Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team in the Department of Dermatology. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty members to conduct research in basic and translational immunology.

• Investigate the immunopathological contributions to dermatologic diseases, focusing on inflammation and immune response mechanisms.
• Assist in basic, translational immunology based research, including cell culture, protein and nucleic acid isolation, western blot analysis, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), quantitative real-time PCR, tissue biobanking, and other tasks.
• Conduct translational medicine through multiple approaches, including clinical, research, and social mechanisms.
• Explore the role of immune cells in Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS).
• Foster collaborative approaches to studying and understanding the pathophysiology of HS.

• Applicants should have received a PhD by the activation date of the postdoctoral fellowship.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated: excellence in oral communication skills, a commitment to mentoring students from diverse backgrounds, effective interpersonal and collaboration skills, an appreciation for the field of immunology, and the ability to contribute to a positive, collegial, work atmosphere.
