About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Developer Advocate to showcase our web data extraction platform to fellow developers.

As a key member of our marketing team, you will create engaging content and build lasting relationships within the community.

  • Create high-quality written and video content, code samples, and tutorials that demonstrate the power of our tools.
  • Engage with the community across various social channels and forums, showcasing how to solve web scraping challenges using our platform or other solutions.
  • Present at developer-focused events, sharing your expertise and passion for web data extraction.
  • Write informative blog posts for our website and third-party sites, highlighting the benefits of our platform.
  • IDentify external advocates and community leaders, supporting them as they share their experiences with our platform.
  • Represent the developer perspective within the marketing team, ensuring our content resonates with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with our technical teams to identify content opportunities and channel community feedback.
  • Contribute to improving our documentation and ensure it meets the needs of our users.
  • Regularly post updates on our social channels, catering to our developer audience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a developer or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Python programming language.
  • A genuine interest in web data extraction and its applications.
  • A passion for helping developers succeed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking experience.
  • Proven experience working with communities, social media, and blogging platforms.
  • Self-motivation, self-reliance, and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent technical writing skills.
