**What You'll Do**

In this role as a Cloud Computing Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and quality assurance in a development team. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing code, working with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members to ensure success. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Designing, coding, and quality assurance of specific product features.
- Conducting research and development activities in cloud computing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Go, Python, Spark, and microservices architecture.
- Staying connected with industry experts in your region.
- Learning about state-of-the-art cloud deployment technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding continuous integration in a global development environment.
- Working in an agile team that uses the Scrum framework to self-organize and work towards development goals.
- Being part of a DevOps culture where CI/CD practices are implemented.
- Being part of a globally distributed group that has a significant impact on the Enterprise Software industry globally.

A Bachelor's degree or undergraduate studies in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering
- Ideally, one year of experience in a related position, but new graduates and undergraduates are welcome.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Programming experience in Golang, Python.
- Some experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Spark

**Meet Your Team**

As part of the SAP HANA Cloud & Datalake/Big Data Fabric Services team, you will work on developing innovative solutions for our customers. This product enables access to data from anywhere.

The Big Data Fabric Services team is responsible for:

Extending and completing SAP Data Platform with Big Data technologies to support different SAP lines of business.
- Leveraging Apache Spark and Object Store technology to provide scalable and cost-effective compute and storage services for big data ingestion, processing, and sharing.
- Integrating into SAP BTP and HANA Cloud & Data Lake to offer a unified development and deployment experience for different SAP lines of business.
- Ensuring multi-tenancy and secure data processing.

In the BDFS team, we foster a collaborative culture where knowledge sharing is encouraged. Our team is currently located in São Leopoldo (BR) and Palo Alto (US).
