Automotive Technician Role

A highly skilled Automotive Technician is required to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, utilizing their technical expertise to ensure high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of technicians to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standards, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform tasks of lower-level technicians, including Mechanic and General Service Technician roles.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical individuals, including employees and customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology through ongoing training and education.
  • Assist fellow technicians in performing technical activities.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of motivation, energy, and customer focus.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair.
  • 4 or more ASE certifications are preferred (A4 Steering and Suspension & A5 Brakes, plus 2 from the following: A1 Engine Repair, A6 Electrical, A7 HVAC, A8 Engine Performance, L1 Advanced Engine Performance).
  • Section 609 certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background check.
  • Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
