We are seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Commissioning Professional, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities.
The Role:- Provide technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities.
- Witness static and dynamic testing of complex electrical systems.
- Perform Test Procedures.
- Conduct site observation surveys and prepare field reports on project status and completion with respect to plans and specifications.
- Prepare punch list reports and determine corrective measures for on-site problems.
- Prepare general condition survey reports.
- Ensure compliance with codes, local project regulations, construction practices, and the latest equipment functional concepts.
- Obey all projects safety requirements, including specific on-site regulations.
- Act as project coordinator with other field engineers, coordinating printing, presentation, and administration procedures.
- Review shop drawings and submittals.
- Experience commissioning electrical systems in a data center or large commercial/industrial setting (500kVA or above) OR senior commissioning role experience.
- Determine and interpret data from various sources, such as external PQM waveforms, data logs, etc.
- Determine pass/fail criteria.
- Knowledge of data center topologies across varied designs: N+1, N+2, 2N, etc.
- Fault finding/trouble-shooting knowledge of integrated systems: UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers, high and low voltage power systems.
- Working knowledge of network and communications: Modbus/ethernet, SCADA systems, etc.
- Understanding of data center commissioning levels and requirements to move between levels.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commissioning experience in data centers or large commercial/industrial settings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and/or similar software packages.
