Cloud Engineering Position:

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled cloud engineer to work on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable systems on AWS and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly available systems using cloud-native technologies.
  • Develop and deploy applications using containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and security best practices to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Automate deployment and scaling of applications using CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a cloud engineer.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Strong experience with Linux systems and related tooling.
  • Experience with Linux container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of cloud orchestration frameworks.
  • Ability to write code fluently in Python or Bash.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle including git-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, load balancing.
  • Familiarity with distributed message buses.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • Attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience with large, complex systems and taking ownership of work.
  • Ability to align with goals and deliver on commitments.
  • Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week.
