Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing licensed nursing duties under the scope of practice, maintaining and operating medical and laboratory equipment, and assisting in the treatment and care of patients.
  • Working closely with the Health Center Manager and Nursing Administration to ensure seamless clinical operations and patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, documenting patient information, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in patient population management, prioritizing patient acuity, and coordinating patient care services.
  • Participating in direct or indirect care coordination and case management, providing patient education, and collaborating with the Care Team to ensure patient goals are met.
  • Independently utilizing nursing judgment to provide triage of patients, initiating emergency procedures, and performing rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, medication administration, and patient treatment as directed by providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current RN license issued by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing required.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in ambulatory care preferred.
