Omega Project Solutions Financial Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Omega Project Solutions. As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for leading our finance and inventory team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring effective communication with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems for effective financial management.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the company's budgeting processes, including annual budgets and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and projections for business planning and strategy development.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and laws.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial risks.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, invoicing, and inventory management.
  • Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system, ensuring seamless integration with other departments.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal terms and pricing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including regulatory reporting and compliance.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and control debt levels and credit.
  • Lead and develop the finance and inventory team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring effective communication with other departments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or relevant role, with a strong track record of financial management and leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management practices, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis, forecasting methods, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, financial management software, and SAP.
  • Ability to strategize, problem-solve, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and people skills.
  • Analytical mind, comfortable with numbers, and ability to interpret financial data.
  • CPA, ACCA, or other relevant certifications are an advantage.
  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
