Program Officer – Textiles and Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of our Raizes da Caatinga program. As a Program Officer, you will provide operational support, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure efficient program execution in alignment with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the day-to-day management of the Raizes da Caatinga program
- Manage projects (co-fundings) in accordance with IDH policies, procedures, and funder requirements, including contract management, financial administration, data collection and analysis, and reporting
- Support the Program Manager on M&E reporting and analysis and ongoing progress tracking of key data points, together with the M&E team
- Support the Program Manager on convening public and private actors on the program
- Support the Program Manager on reviewing activities, budgets, and daily financial administration
- Convene meetings, events, and workshops between IDH and its partners, including taking responsibility for meeting logistics and note-taking
- Experience of working in the field and with family farming production
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in project management, financial administration, and project budgeting
- Knowledge of/strong interest in project management, sustainability, climate smart agriculture, and family farming
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially a very good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- A salary range matching your expectations based on the job level
- A full-time (40 hours) 1-year service agreement, with the intention to extend
