Chief Information Officer Job Description:

The IT Chief plays a vital role in ensuring the stability and security of the company's digital infrastructure. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the organization's technology strategy, managing the IT team, leading tech projects, and formulating cybersecurity policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute the technology strategy to achieve business objectives.
  2. Manage digital infrastructure to ensure stability and security.
  3. Evaluate existing systems and propose optimization solutions to drive digital transformation.
  1. Manage the IT team, assign tasks, and oversee performance.
  2. Recruit, train team members, and evaluate performance to enhance team capabilities.
  3. Coordinate with other departments to provide technical support for business needs.
  4. Manage relationships with external software and hardware vendors.
  1. Lead tech projects to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.
  2. Manage and evaluate project vendors.
  3. Ensure stable operation of digital infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, hardware).
  1. Formulate cybersecurity policies to prevent cyber attacks and data leaks.
  2. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  3. Implement data security, backup, and disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor degree or above in computer science, information technology, or related majors.
  2. 5+ years of IT experience in manufacturing, including 2+ years in management.
  3. Proficient in network architecture, database management, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
  4. Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes and ERP/MES/OA system implementation and maintenance.
  5. Knowledge of IT frameworks and data compliance.
  6. Fluent in Portuguese and English.

A successful candidate should have excellent leadership skills, be able to work under pressure, and possess a strong understanding of IT strategies and technologies.
