Role Overview
The Project Operations Engineer II is responsible for developing and ensuring the execution of the Operation Execution Plan for assigned projects, adhering to industry standards, company protocols, and project installation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate operational procedures related to offshore activities.
- Assist the Project Operation Manager in formulating operational procedures within the Project Execution Plan.
- Generate purchase order requisitions associated with installation support.
- Verify the adequacy of the material supply cycle in relation to project timelines and budgetary limits.
- Facilitate coordination with the Engineering Department.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Offshore Operations Support (OOS) team.
- Monitor asset readiness in collaboration with the OOS contact.
- Review tests and documentation for alignment with client specifications.
- Ensure effective communication between the OOS team and the project.
- Coordinate and streamline mobilization and demobilization processes (construction, transport).
- Collaborate with the Project Operation Manager to prepare for the Readiness Review prior to initiating marine operations.
- Compile and organize documentation for the 'as built' project dossier.
- Participate in HAZID and Risk Assessment meetings, disseminating information appropriately.
- Engage in Engineering Review meetings, ensuring information is effectively communicated.
- Prepare documentation for the selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Attend meetings with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with operational project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in subsea engineering.
- Possibly registered with a professional engineering institution, depending on local regulations.
- Strong understanding of techniques and assets related to offshore installations.
- Familiarity with challenges and interfaces associated with vessel mobilization.
- Knowledge of discipline-specific tools and procedures.
- Proficiency in professional English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
