Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new features, improve existing ones, and enhance components' performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure system stability, proper testing, and observability; actively monitor production behavior and react quickly to incidents.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to find solutions for customers' problems and make those solutions happen.
  • Share knowledge with the team and learn together, removing technical roadblocks to progress.
Required Skills
  • Write correct, clean code with guidance; follow best practices, including tests.
  • Have practical knowledge about infrastructure, service architectures, tools, libraries, frameworks, and continuous deployment systems.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform data-driven performance and scalability optimizations.
  • Actively contribute to the technical design of features and understand design tradeoffs.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming.
  • Proficient with Ruby on Rails, Python, or other object-oriented languages.
