Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Murex professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Murex Operations and MxML/WF.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, amending, and troubleshooting business workflows: contract, confirmations, settlements, and collateral.

They will also resolve daily end-user issues on both functional and technical sides with respect OPS / BO processing side.

The role involves addressing day-to-day assigned tasks to complete various OPS, BO requirements, and MarkitWire requirements.

The successful candidate will also build new upstream/downstream integration(s), convert existing integration points with Murex version change, develop MxML (Workflows, Exchange), XSL/Transformation, scripting (bsh, ksh, ...etc.), and assist existing support groups in resolving integration-related requests or issues.

Contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables, perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).

Liaise with technical teams when needed to resolve environment-related issues and necessary enhancements in preparation for cloud deployment.

Analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables.

Hands-on experience with Murex MxML Exchange development is essential, along with knowledge of pre-trade framework and MSL scripting language.

A strong understanding of OSP (Open Settlement Protocol) workflow, operations, fixings process, confirmations, and trade life cycle is required.

Additionally, the candidate should have good knowledge of post-trade interactions between various actors of capital markets including service providers, batch processing, cash flow management, and end-of-day issue resolutions flows.

A strong analytical and conceptual skillset, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, presentation skills, relationship-building skills both internally and externally, and strong experience in supporting end-users and resolving their daily issues are highly valued.

  • Murex functional and technical knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of business workflows contract, confirmation, settlements, and collateral
  • Data dictionary languages SQL XSL
  • Swift
  • Collateral Markitwire and Margin Manager knowledge a plus
