As a Technical Sales Specialist for Software Maintenance at Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will play a crucial role in expanding our software maintenance business in collaboration with our sales partners.
Responsibilities- Manage software maintenance contracts independently, ensuring timely renewals and up-selling opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with key contacts at Solution Partners to foster strong relationships and drive business growth.
- Provide expert consultation and training to Solution Partners on software maintenance and configuration topics, empowering them to maximize their sales potential.
- Create compelling offers in Salesforce.com that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate across departments with technical, sales, and global order management teams to ensure seamless contract execution and customer satisfaction.
- Handle contract cancellations efficiently and effectively, minimizing any negative impact on our business.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as forecasts, to inform strategic decision-making.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Sales experience, preferably in SaaS environments, with a strong affinity for the software industry.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling offers and negotiate effectively.
- A results-driven approach, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales scenarios.
