About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at MetaCTO. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in building scalable web applications that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies such as JavaScript, React, and AWS.
  • Build, test, and deploy APIs and backend services, leveraging AWS infrastructure to ensure seamless integration.
  • Manage and optimize databases, primarily MySQL, to ensure performance and security.
  • Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Integrate and maintain headless CMS platforms such as Strapi to support dynamic content management.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Ensure high performance of applications and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development cycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on JavaScript, React, AWS, MySQL, and Strapi.
  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end architecture and best practices.
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs and working with third-party APIs.
  • Proficiency with databases, particularly MySQL, including query optimization and schema design.
  • Knowledge of headless CMS frameworks like Strapi.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud applications.
  • Experience implementing RESTful APIs in React & Node environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Strapi customization and plugin development.
